Thank you for your generosity! We’re so close to helping mothers and their newborns have a healthier outcome!

Thank you to all who have helped us get closer to building a new maternity ward for the Achiek Clinic. As we explained in our previous communication, currently, mothers and newborns rest in the same dormitory-style room as infectious patients. A new maternity ward would allow us to separate mothers and their newborns from sick patients, and the surgical center will enable us to perform emergency procedures such as Caesarean sections.

So far, we have collected $80,186 out of the $85,000 needed to build the wing. We only need$4,814 to start building!

If you haven’t contributed, would you consider helping us close the gap?

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

(Matt 25:35-40)
